Republicans Need to Filibuster Sotomayor

Senate Republicans need to filibuster Sonia Sotomayor's nomination to the Supreme Court.  How is that possible if there is now the infamous 60th vote for democrats in the Senate?  It is possible because of one rule in taking matters to a vote.
"The Chairman shall entertain a non-debatable motion to bring a matter before the Committee to a vote. If there is objection to bring the matter to a vote without further debate, a roll call vote of the Committee shall be taken, and debate shall be terminated if the motion to bring the matter to a vote without further debate passes with ten votes in the affirmative, one of which must be cast by the minority."
If the Republicans would unite and vote in the negative to move Sotomayor’s nomination to a vote before the committee, the matter would be stuck in the debate phase.  Understand that this would depend on the weak conservative links like Sen. Lindsey Graham holding firm, something he has fell to do in the past.  This would cause some negative blow back to this, but this nominee is dangerous to the freedoms granted to Americans by the Constitution.
The talking point of Democrats is to define judicial activism as when the decisions of the court do not agree with what “you” believe.  Wrong.  The job of the Supreme Court is to hold laws passed by Congress up to the scrutiny of the defined powers granted government by the constitution and strike down those laws if they overstep the bounds that the founding fathers set on the federal government.  Judicial Activism takes place when a judge bypasses the congress and creates law by the crafting of judicial decisions.  The founding fathers created a wonderful system that, when used properly and within the bounds of the Constitution, prevents one segment of government from circumventing the Constitution without a check from other branches to balance their authority.  When judicial activist judges create law, there is no check and the Constitution is ignored.  Sonya Sotomayor is a judicial activist.  She is one of the most overturned judges in our federal judicial system because she either does not understand the Constitution when rendering decisions or intentionally ignores it.  Either is unacceptable.  We must make a stand not against this administration and its hard left leaning.  Republican Senators, show some brass and stop this nomination or let them nominate her over your proverbial dead political bodies.  If you will return to your conservative credentials you will be resurrected by the conservative majority speaks out at the voting booth in 2010.
