Is America Beginning to Wake Up?

The Rasmusen Polls today shows the picture of a Country that is beginning to wake-up to the realization that President Obama and the Democratic Party are wrong for America. Almost anyone capable of an intellectual thought need only listen to the incoherent babbling of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and they should understand that they are wrong for America. The eye catcher in the new Rasmusen Polls is the results for President Obama.

Is Obama still Popular? Overall yes, but as more and more people watch government move in to invade more areas of our live through the Obama backed health care plans and the cap and trade bill (which looks like it came from the Madoff ponzi scheme playbook), America is beginning to wake up. It is time for conservatives, both Democrat and Republican, to stand up and caucus together to fight this liberal agenda. Stop believing the lies of the Democratic controlled media that conservatism is dead. It is very much alive, and these poll results prove it. Even in an election where America was tired of George W. Bush, 48% of the people still did not fall for the Obama political hype machine.

Did Pennsylvania Senator Arleen Spector switch parties because the Republican Conservative message as presented could not get him elected in north-eastern states? No!!! He switched because he is a liberal and it was time to reveal his true leanings. To that end I say good riddance. This message needs to be relayed to other senators like South Carolina’s Lindsay Graham, if you were elected to be a conservative voice for your state (by the way, senators are not U.S. Senators. They are senators representing the state of “fill in the blank”), you should be about the business of representing us. Not your own agenda or opinions. I for one did not vote for Graham to go to Washington to vote his conscience, I voted for him to go to Washington to vote my conscience and the majority conscience of the people of South Carolina.

I am an ordinary citizen and I speak for ordinary citizens. Raise yourselves out of slumber Congress, and take notice that America is waking up and we will be holding you accountable for raising our taxes and letting spending get out of control. We will be holding you accountable for mortgaging our children’s future so that your liberal agenda can be carried out. Conservatives, we will be holding you accountable for not speaking out and going along just to get along. It is time for a change and members of the house and senate, the change will begin with getting you out.
